The Appraisal Desktop
EDSSketch includes a complete front-end property database presenting the user with a logical
preview of sketch files located on the file server. Users can sort and find properties on a number
of fields including parcel number, address, street name, city, county, ZIP code and more.
With the optional briefcase technology, appraisers can check out any number of parcels
onto their laptop from the file server to work out in the field. During that time, other
users can view and print files checked out, but can not edit them.
The desktop implements facilities providing complete file security. Each user can be assigned
any of a number of permissions. Permissions include ability to add, delete, edit, check out, print
and transmit property information.
