About OneDomain
 
 
OneDomain is a rapidly growing Birmingham, AL-based software company that develops and markets media planning, research, and business intelligence software to television stations across the United States. The primary product allows broadcast salespeople to analyze TV ratings and target their approaches to selling time slots to advertisers. Following incorporation in October 2001, the company's first two years were spent in product development. In 60 months after its first major software release in November 2003, OneDomain has earned over 50% market share.

 
 


OneDomain Timeline


October, 2001 - Incorporated in Birmingham, Alabama.

January 2002 - Secured contract with Nielsen Media Research to become a commercial third party processor.

July 2002 - iAvails product released. iAvails facilitates communication between advertising agencies and television stations, speeding up the first step in an ad campaign.

January 2003 - Secured agreement with Nielsen Media Research to become a third party processor for Nielsen overnight data, a first in our industry.

March 2003 - Signed exclusive agreement with Video Communications, Inc., (VCI) to develop an integration with the VCI traffic system.

April 2003 - OneDomain product introduced to television marketplace at TVB and NAB trade shows.

October 2003 - Announced strategic alliance with Encoda Systems to develop two-way interfaces between their traffic products.

November 2003 - OneDomain product released. OneDomain has revolutionized the sale of television spot time by linking sales to traffic and billing, and relating all of this to the latest Nielsen overnight data.

September 2004 - OneDomain Named One of the Top 12 Most Promising Businesses in Birmingham by the Birmingham Venture Club.

November 2004 - 112 TV Stations installed, with at least 20 more install scheduled by year's end.

November 2005 - 242 TV Stations installed.

November 2006 - 330 TV Stations installed. Also, first use of Odie dog as mascot.

November 2007 - 411 TV Stations installed.

November 2008 - 510 TV Stations installed.

November 2009 - 600 TV Stations installed.
