Claude Morris Joins OneDomain
December 20, 2006 - OneDomain is pleased to announce the addition of Claude Morris to its executive staff as Vice President of Operations. Claude brings over 30 years of service experience to OneDomain from his efforts as Vice President of International Operations for DataCommunicationsCorp (BIAS) and most recently, as Chief Operating Officer for Video Communications, Inc. Claude will be responsible for maintaining the explosive growth OneDomain has experienced in the past year. 	OneDomain Helps Florida Stations Foil Frances September 3, 2004 - One Domain, Inc., has ensured that its Florida television station clients will not lose critical advertising data in the wake of Hurricane Frances, thanks to the remote backup feature of its software products for the broadcast media industry. In anticipation of disastrous power failures, the Birmingham, Alabama, firm began remote backup operations Thursday afternoon at the request of one client; by Friday morning, all twelve stations were backed up as a client services courtesy. According to Don Bennett, OneDomain Vice President, the process will continue with client stations all along the eastern seaboard as the hurricane continues to move up the coast. This procedure will potentially save hundreds of hours of manpower re-creating lost files if needed, and will allow the stations to turn their attention to the more physical aspects of weathering the storm. Says Bennett, "We launched this backup manually. We can set it up on a schedule and typically we get a backup weekly or so. The process is initiated as a command sent to our servers. They are able to do a backup even while users are in the system. As the backups completed, they were transferred to our servers here."
