Sunbelt Communications selected OneDomain's ClearView after an extensive technical analysis that
reflected unique challenges. Six of the Sunbelt Communications stations connect to one
central Bias traffic hub. Every day, OneDomain imports critical traffic data into ClearView
at individual station locations from the hub site. Three remote sales offices use Terminal
Service applications to quickly access the ClearView system.
Sunbelt's largest market, Las Vegas, has Nielsen meters, and ClearView allows an
unmatched interaction between overnight ratings, inventory estimates and instant daily or weekly
posts from Bias, and ongoing flight management.
Paul A. Heine, Sunbelt's Corporate Research Director, looked at all of the competition's software
before selecting ClearView and stated "I worked for Tapscan, Arbitron & Nielsen in the 80's & 90's,
and then seven years with Sunbelt, so I've seen just about everything out there. The developers
at OneDomain are getting the most out of Nielsen data using the latest generation of computer
hardware and software. It's all designed to run under Windows XP and to interface with
Microsoft Office, unlike previously available systems which were written for DOS in
the late 1980's and can't be easily used with current applications. OneDomain has a Reach and
Frequency calculation method that reflects our markets, our stations, and our most recent cumes;
far better than an outmoded technique developed when there were really only three major
networks and cable was in its infancy..."
