OneDomain has reached a major milestone in its EDI initiative - the new eBiz4Tv web portal (
www.eBiz4Tv.com).
Designed to electronically connect advertisers and agencies to TV stations, eBiz4Tv marks a turning
point in the way TV spot is bought and sold. Using the eBiz4Tv portal, advertisers and agencies are
able to send avail requests, receive proposals and receive pre-post spots directly from their partner stations.
WLVI Boston, a Tribune Broadcasting station, was the first local station to successfully take advantage of
sending posted spots to a major agency using the portal. "Sending this type of pre-post data through
eBiz4Tv allows us to better service our clients and gives them a clear indicator of how their campaigns are
running on our station," says Jim Norden, Local Sales Manager for WLVI.
Arbitron, (provider of both the SmartPlus and Tapscan Suite of Agency software services), is slated to
begin sending orders from its 1400+ agency clients through its ebiz portal eBiz@Arbitron
(https://ebiz.arbitron.com) directly into OneDomain ClearView stations through eBiz4Tv in the second quarter
of 2006. Arbitron clients will soon be able to receive pre-post information from ClearView stations for
more expeditious monitoring of "in schedule" campaigns . "Arbitron agencies expect the most advanced
tools to get their jobs done. This is just another example or our commitment to providing the best
products available," comments Beth Bourne, Vice President of Marketing and Software for Arbitron Agency Services.
"For years, the industry has been crying out for solutions to the EDI puzzle. OneDomain was the first
to deploy such a solution in July 2002 with its iAvails product which has now been rolled up into the
eBiz4Tv portal," says Greg Calhoun, Vice President of Marketing of OneDomain. "Agencies and advertisers
are now demanding this interface. Through eBiz4Tv, all of OneDomain's ClearView stations now have the
ability to send avail data directly to agencies utilizing Donovan Data Systems' TAM specification. We're
proud to be the first to allow our stations to play in this new electronic frontier."
